Koiviston ulkoilupuisto, josta Veistospuisto kattaa osan, ymp\u00e4r\u00f6i alunperin vuoden 1940 Helsingin kes\u00e4olympialaisia varten rakennettua lyhytaaltoasemaa, joka kuitenkin vihittiin k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n vasta toisen maailmansodan j\u00e4lkeen vuonna 1948. T.E.H.D.A.S. ry:n k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 olevat aseman tilat ja sit\u00e4 ymp\u00e4r\u00f6iv\u00e4 puisto tarjoavat hyv\u00e4t mahdollisuudet kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 kest\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 ja helposti l\u00e4hestytt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 kulttuuritarjontaa my\u00f6s kaupunkikeskustan ulkopuolella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In English<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-sitetext-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5936c58900b69f7f0f2d62ab06875d32\">The Sculpture Park is an ongoing project that was started in 2011 and is being developed by T.E.H.D.A.S. in cooperation with the city of Pori, other cultural actors in the area and local communities. The Koivisto outdoor park, of which the Sculpture Park covers a part, surrounds a shortwave station originally built for the 1940 Helsinki Summer Olympics, which was, however, only inaugurated after World War II in 1948.
